SPRING I SWEAR

APRIL FOOL

Fresh back from the UK, thanks all who came to the shows. It was a thrill to share some of the new Jonatha/Woody songs with you all. There's always something magic (and a little scary) about hearing them out in the open for the first time. Like sending your children off to school and hoping they hold their own.

My UK champion and promoter of "Good Music Collective" Kim Heath.

The lovely little club in Leicester, "The Musician".

I absolutely loved Belfast. What a treat to finally play there. A million thanks to Katie and our lovely new pals at the BBC and the local radio and tv stations. WOW!

I went back to the Woody Guthrie Archives this week to visit Nora and Tiffany, the lovely gatekeepers. We filmed a little background footage to share later – how the project evolved and the love affair unwound!! I'm still working away at the finishing touches.

Me and Nora Guthrie, and the folder of "M" lyrics!

Me and Woody.

Meanwhile, I'm off tomorrow to Philly for round two of the "Beggar's Banquet". (Benefit for WXPN) By all means come on down and hang out. Last year was wicked fun, food, booze, and debauched dancing.

See you there.
